Heavy thunderstorms of orange vigilance level (25 to 35mm) are expected Thursday and Friday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). The phenomenon will concern, Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., the provinces of Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taounate, Taza and Fez, specifies the DGM in a special meteorological bulletin.
The provinces of Al Hoceima, Béni Mellal, Boulemane, Midelt, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taounate and Taza will be affected by the same phenomenon Friday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., adds the same source. These thunderstorms will be accompanied locally by hailstorms and gusts of wind under thunderstorms, informed the DGM, noting that moderate thunderstorms (15 to 20mm) will interest this afternoon and night the provinces of Khouribga, El Hajeb and Tetouan.
In addition, fairly strong gusts of winds (60 to 70km / h) are expected this day in the Tangérois region, notes the bulletin.
