Game of Thrones: soon a play!

Ariana Grande will soon join the jury for the American version of The Voice. The singer of “7 Rings” confirmed this good news on her social networks, announcing that she will indeed settle in one of the famous red armchairs of the famous musical competition for its 21st season. Obviously, his arrival means that a member of the jury is going to say goodbye to the show, and this time it’s Nick Jonas. Ariana will therefore be seated alongside John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson, during this highly anticipated season.

She said in a statement, “I’m so honored and excited to join the The Voice family! I’ve been a huge fan of the show for so long. I can’t wait to face these amazing coaches, d ‘get to know new artists and help them hone their talent. ”

Like its French version, The Voice US frequently welcomes new coaches. In the past, stars such as Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, and many more have been on the jury. The show’s first-ever jury consisted of Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, singer of Maroon 5.

The latter, however, decided to quit the competition for good in 2019 after 16 seasons of loyal service, declaring at the time: “I am so proud to have been part of something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. . ”

When asked if he would ever return to the show, the “This Love” singer replied, “No thanks.”
