Baloise invests in a Danish carsharing specialist

The insurer Baloise will invest 5 million euros (5.5 million francs) in the Danish carsharing company Gomore, strengthening its presence in the mobility niche, he announced Thursday.

This operation meets the group’s objective of expanding its activity in the areas of mobility and housing by 2025, Baloise said in a press release.

Car-sharing provider Gomore claims 2.6 million members in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Spain. The company offers its customers the option of renting or carpooling their vehicles, mainly leased cars from Gomore.

‘For Baloise to advance this transformation of individual traffic and provide financial support for Gomore’s European expansion, it is an initiative that fits perfectly with its sustainability strategy,’ underlined the Rhine insurer.
