Inwi Money and Marjane Holding announce the generalization of mobile payment

Inwi Money, a leading player in the field of mobile payment, and Marjane Holding, a major player in the field of mass distribution, announce the generalization of mobile payment in the Marjane and Marjane Market stores in Morocco.

All customers with a mobile payment wallet offering payment by QR-Code will be able to easily pay for their purchases in the Marjane and Marjane Market stores located in Casablanca as of this week. The gradual generalization to stores located in other cities will be effective in the coming weeks.

Equipped with his mobile payment application on smartphone, the customer will be able to pay for his purchases with ease and in complete safety by capturing the QR-Code displayed on the payment terminals of all the cash registers of the Marjane and Marjane Market stores.

Uniting their efforts, the two players thus contribute to the promotion of the mobile payment ecosystem “Maroc Pay[1] »Aiming at the digitization of payment transactions at merchants. This system launched in Morocco under the aegis of Bank Al Maghrib and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency is part of the intensification of the use of digital and financial inclusion in our country.
