Mohamed Bennani therefore took over the general management of Renault in Morocco, a key position in relation to Renault’s activities in Tangier in particular. Graduated from the National School of Mechanics and Microengineering in Besançon and from management training at Insead, he joined the Renault group in 1989 and had a rich career there, highlighting very international experiences (Italy, South Africa, EMEA, Dubai).

He will work with Fabrice Crevola, in charge of Renault Maroc sales, and who has also been appointed CEO of Dacia. The organization by brand included in the Renaulution plan has thus been put in place.

Mohamed Bennani and Fabrice Crevola will also be attached to Guillaume Josselin, Commercial Director of the Renault brand, for the Europe and Maghreb zone, and to Xavier Martinet, Director of Marketing, Sales and Operations for the Dacia and Lada brands.

Recall that Renault produced 394,902 vehicles in Morocco in 2019, of which 303,558 vehicles at the Tangier plant, for an export rate of 93%. At the commercial level, this same year, Dacia had 27.7% market share and Renault, 14,6 %. Morocco is in the Top 15 of the group’s leading markets in the world.
