The single-aisle aircraft therefore represents the majority of the 28 total orders recorded by the European aircraft manufacturer during the month. The 20 planes ordered are of the largest model in the series, the A220-300, which can accommodate up to 160 passengers. The client is not known.

On its website, the company also mentions having delivered four A220 aircraft during the month, including two for Air Canada and two for Delta Airlines. A total of nine devices have been delivered since the start of the year.

The final assembly of the A220s is mostly done at the Mirabel plant. A220-300 devices for the US market are assembled in Mobile, Alabama. Three devices delivered this month have been assembled in Mirabel.
