Haut-Rhin: opening of four new vaccination centers

In the Haut-Rhin, four new centers will open from Tuesday April 6, in Munster, Rixheim, Rouffach and Saint-Amarin. On March 31, Emmanuel Macron announced the acceleration of the vaccination campaign and its extension to people over the age of 60 on April 16.

While all the Alsatian centers will be closed during the long Easter weekend, vaccination slots will be open from this Thursday, April 1 on the various appointment-making platforms (Doctolib and sante.fr). These openings will bring the number of centers in Alsace to 34 (18 in Bas-Rhin).

For now, vaccination is open to priority audiences: people aged 70 and over, those aged between 50 and 69 years old with at least one aggravating factor for the development of a severe form of the coronavirus and for those aged between 50 and 69. people with co-morbidities.

95,821 vaccinated in Haut-Rhin

As of March 29, 60.4% of people aged 75 to 79 and 62.2% of people over 80 have received at least one dose of the vaccine. “This vaccination coverage represents 12.6% of the Haut-Rhin population.“, indicates the ARS Grand Est in a press release. So far, some 8.2 million first doses and 2.8 million seconds have been injected in France.
