The PlayStation offering on PC continues to grow. Last year we saw how Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition came to this platform. Now, through an interview with GQ, it has been confirmed that Days Gone will be available on PC during spring 2021.
As well as providing more information on the new PSVR for the PS5 and revealing that Gran Turismo 7 would be delayed until 2022, Jim Ryan, SIE CEO’s interview with GQ has also confirmed that Days Gone will arrive on PC in the spring of this year. Nevertheless, at the moment there is no exact release date. Here’s what Ryan had to say about the PlayStation offering on PC:
“We are now in early 2021 with our development studios and the games they do in better shape than ever. Particularly starting in the second half of the PS4 cycle, our studios created wonderful and great games. There is an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which is not always straightforward. The cost of making games increases with each cycle, as the caliber of the IP has improved. In addition, our ease of making it available to those without a console has increased. Therefore, it is a fairly simple decision for us ”.
Likewise, mention is made that a large list of games will also be available on PC in the future. Although no specific names are provided, we are likely to see titles like God of War (2018) o Ratchet & Clank. Maybe the dream of seeing Bloodborne on PC finally comes true. We can only wait for the official confirmation.
