Several months have already passed since, in mid-October, OnePlus presented the new iteration of its alt rangea: the OnePlus 8T. Since then the rumors and leaks about the next generation have not stopped happening and everything seems to indicate that, on this occasion, in addition to seeing a Pro variant, we will have a Lite version.
Now it seems that this more modest model, which had been talked about as OnePlus 9 Lite or even as OnePlus 9i, could be called OnePlus 9E and have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 processor on board, as well as a 6.5-inch screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate.
With 5G and 64 megapixel camera
The Greek tech blog Techmaniacs has leaked some important details of the future OnePlus 9E (aka OnePlus 9 Lite), among which are a 6.5-inch screen with 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution and refresh rate of 90 Hz (remember that the rumors about the OnePlus 9 point to a panel of 120 Hz).
Although previous leaks spoke of the Snapdragon 865 for this more modest variant of the OnePlus 9, the new information points to the Snapdragon 690 chipset as brain, a processor with 8 nanometer technology and a CPU formed by two clusters of 2 and 6 cores, all of them Kryo 560 and running at a maximum of 2 GHz. This, as we already know, also means support for 5G both SA and NSA .
In addition, Techmaniacs ensures that the rear camera of the OnePlus 9E will have a 64 megapixel main sensor and an 8 megapixel wide angle, while the battery will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Memory-wise, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage are expected, although there could be other variants.
