a delicious teaser unveiled by Sony Pictures

“Sugar. Malicious. Wild”. Here are three adjectives that rather aptly describe this teaser of “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” (Ghostbusters: Afterlife as the original title), the fourth film in the “Ghostbusters” saga. On Wednesday April 7, Sony Pictures unveiled a delicious passage from the film by Jason Reitman (son of Ivan Reitman, director of the first two films of the saga), which is scheduled for release next fall.

Release scheduled for November

In this one-minute clip, actor Paul Rudd is shopping at the supermarket when he comes face to face with a packet of marshmallows whose candy comes to life. Cheerful and smiling, these little bibendums have fun and obviously recall one of the key characters of the first episode.

In December 2019, the production of the film had already unveiled a first trailer, suggesting the main lines of the story. A single mother and her two children settle in a small town and will discover the legacy bequeathed by their grandfather, Egon Spengler, one of the founding members of “Ghostbusters”. On the distribution side, the “old” Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson but also Sigourney Weaver will be in the cast.
