The comedian confided his weariness and incomprehension in the face of the latest measures put in place to deal with the pandemic.
Franck Dubosc is bored. Not that this year under Covid was frankly difficult for the actor, who was able to continue his work despite some setbacks. His agenda is full until 2022. But, like the rest of the world, the time is starting to be long: “We’re a bit like those children in the car who keep asking their parents: ‘when are we coming?’ We would like someone to answer us! ”, quipped the humorist, interviewed by TV-Leisure .

The image speaks for itself. Especially since “things are not clear ”, according to him, concerning this third confinement. “We are confined, but we go out as before. Where we should unite, we disunite: on vaccines, measures taken, government actions… ” he regretted. He concedes, all the same, that the experience of March 2020 was not so unpleasant, despite the uncertainty of the next day: “Living with my family for two months with my wife and children was a real delight, but with the fear of what would come next.He was ill at the start of the pandemic, without being able to make a diagnosis. “I stopped performing on February 14, then I fell ill for a month. I was hospitalized for a week. Since I wasn’t coughing, it wasn’t the coronavirus, but we couldn’t find what it was. I was devastated. Not being able to put a name on what you have is worrying. ”

Professionally, Franck Dubosc had to adapt: “Because of the first confinement, I had to postpone the shooting [de Rumba la vie, son second film en tant que réalisateur, ndlr] to October. As I play a school bus driver, I spun my two boys: each has a little cue and we filled the bus with their classmates. They had a great time! ” The comedy, whose release is set for January 26, 2022, will feature a man in his fifties who abandoned wife and child. As time goes by, taken with remorse, he decides to enroll in dance lessons given by his daughter, despite his detestation of the discipline.

Other of his projects suffered from the health situation, including a big budget film with Daniel Auteuil, in particular. A temporary freeze, hopes the comedian. In the meantime, his main concern remains the reunion with the public: “I can’t wait to meet my friends on stage. I even want to find the ones I don’t like. I miss everybody !”
