The Lady shared her thoughts on Meghan and Harry’s interview in a 38-minute video posted to YouTube (see below).
She alleges Princess Anne, 70, was the first in the firm to advise Prince Harry against marrying Meghan Markle. “Do not marry this girl”, Anne allegedly told her, considering that the American, 39, was “unsuitable”.
Lady Campbell, of Jamaican descent, known as Lady C, touched on various topics related to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the video.
She claims royals thought the couple’s relationship was just a “fling” at first – before quickly realizing it was much more serious.
Lady C said Meghan then “tried to charm” the family and “made it” with Prince Charles, 72, and the Queen, 94.
But she claims that the former actress “did not succeed” with “everyone” – and that Princess Anne explains “having seen her arrive a mile away”.
Lady C said Anne “strongly objected” as the relationship developed “for several reasons”.
“It will harm our family, our country and our work,” the Queen’s daughter would have estimated.
According to Lady C, Anne – the Queen’s second child and only daughter – believed Meghan “blatantly wanted to be the center of attention.”
“It completely turned off Princess Anne,” she said. “Because she couldn’t stand Meghan’s constant ‘uh, uh, me, me me, me’.”
Discussing Meghan’s allegations of racism against the Royal Family, Lady C insisted the claims were false. And she added: “There has never been any concerns about Meghan’s color.”
“Princess Anne was rightly concerned that if the wedding took place and there were children there would be huge problems.
“Not because of Meghan’s color, but because of Meghan’s inability and determination to remain unable to appreciate cultural differences and have respect for the institution she was marrying into and respect to the family she was joining. ”
