This is what the results of a survey conducted on behalf of the Journal by the Léger firm, from March 26 to 28, with 1,000 respondents across the province.

In the census metropolitan area (CMA) of Quebec, 60% of citizens do not want the state to get involved financially in this project of several hundred million dollars, the objective of which is to bring a baseball team back to the country. metropolis.

For the Montreal CMA, the data are similar: 59% of respondents reject the idea of ​​government financial participation in this project.
