“With Opening Day, I’m excited to report that we’re bringing the Expos back to MLB in 2022,” he posted, as an ‘April Fool’s Day.’ I am excited to be the first player / coach / owner in Major League Baseball history. ”
Seven-time Super Bowl champion, Brady retains a special affection for the Expos, having been drafted in the 18th round by the Montreal club in 1995. The quarterback won six championships in the New England Patriots uniform before adding another ring, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the most recent Super Bowl.
