Dell through its gaming brand Alienware announces the great comeback of AMD in a gaming configuration. This processor builder has been discontinued from the “galming laptops” offering for 14 years.
For more than a decade, Alienware’s entire range of laptops has been based on Intel platforms. Things just changed with the announcement of a Ryzen edition of the M15 R5. The machine embeds a Ryzen 5000 series chip.
Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen Edition
The machine comes to life thanks to a Ryzen 9 5900HX processor. Its configuration also includes a GeForce RTX 3070 from Nvidia, all accompanied by a 15-inch screen. The panel offers QHD in 240 Hz or FHD in 360Hz.
The equipment includes a keyboard with Cherry MX RGB switches. This new Alienware Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen Edition is announced in the United States for April 20 starting at $ 1,793.98.
