IKEA and Sonos: Soon two new Symfonisk connected speakers?

The editorial staff of Le Parisien did not participate in the production of this article.

The objects designed by IKEA and Sonos skillfully blend the know-how of the two manufacturers. Very atypical, the two speakers released in 2019 adopt the look of a shelf and a bedside lamp, sold respectively at a price of 99.95 euros and 155 euros on the IKEA website. In recent weeks, the Swedish company has again communicated on its partnership with Sonos, via its social networks. Although it has not given information on future products, it seems however that the brand is preparing to announce new products. The American media The Verge thus mentioned two documents from the Federal Communications Commission. The latter report two new connected speakers, which could be announced in the coming days.

Symfonisk: What do we know about the next speakers from IKEA and Sonos?

Once again, the two firms plan to surprise the public with bluetooth speakers with an original design. However, one of the upcoming products should just be a new version of the Symfonisk bedside lamp. The second, on the other hand, will be completely new. Known by the code name “Titan”, it should come in the form of a wall frame paired with a smart speaker. For the moment, it is not yet known whether the object consists of a single frame or if it is a complete work of art, which cannot be modified. Regarding prices, The Verge mentions lower prices than those previously charged in the Symfonisk range. To find out more, we will have to wait for new communications from Sonos or IKEA.
