Deathloop: its release still postponed

As reported by Destructoid, the Lyon branch of Arkane had to make the decision to again postpone the release of Deathloop months, bringing its release to September 14, 2021.

In his post shared on Twitter, game director Dinga Bakaba and artistic director Sebastien Mitton wanted to explain their decision. The two directors and their team are committed to offering a quality product and achieving the ambitions they have set themselves in the development of Deathloop.

They also assured that all this would be done taking into account that the safety and hygiene measures are respected with the development team at Arkane.

“We apologize for the extended wait and thank you for your passion and enthusiasm,” they said in their video message. “It’s the fuel that fuels our creativity and our hard work. We can’t wait to show you more Deathloop soon! “

Developed by the French studio Arkane, Deathloop pits two characters caught in a spiral of violence with mysterious temporal dimensions, all wearing a highly stylized environment and graphics. This is a brand new franchise for the developers who gave us the series Dishonored.

Deathloop The game was originally scheduled for release at the launch of PlayStation 5, but the release was postponed until the spring of 2021. The game will now be released on September 14, 2021.
