The Crowded Room, new series coming to Apple TV +

The Crowded Room is an anthology series that will explore the true and inspiring stories of those who have struggled and learned to live with mental illness. The 10-episode first season of this anthology is a thriller, inspired by the biography Billy Milligan: The man with 24 personalities by Daniel Keyes. It tells the story of Billy Milligan (played by Tom Holland), the first person ever to be acquitted of a crime due to multiple personality disorder (now known as dissociative identity disorder).

Akiva Goldsman will handle the script and production of the series through his company Weed Road Productions. Tom Holland will also be one of the producers. The project is a collaboration between Apple Studios and New Regency.

There is currently no information on the release of The Crowded Room. Can we expect a release in 2021 on Apple TV +? No answer for the moment. In fact, Apple is not even communicating the full cast, we only know that Tom Holland will be there.
