Square Enix and People Can Fly have just shared, via their Reddit page, the information of the first big patch for Outriders.

Among the many fixes planned, we learn that cross-play (complete) will really happen with this patch. This is scheduled for next week. Find out what it will contain below:

From the information given on the Reddit post, we understand that this patch could arrive sooner than expected: “As of today, the rollout of this patch is scheduled for next week, as we are using this week to identify as many problems as possible, correct them, and then thoroughly test the changes on all platforms. Submission by platform maintainers also adds a bit of time, which is why we are unable to deploy this fix sooner. We are doing everything possible to provide you with a stable patch as soon as possible, and we are continually looking for ways to bring its release date forward. This is why we are not yet committing to a specific release date, as we may be able to release the patch sooner. ”

Prior to the release of the patch, the first Outriders players will be entitled to receive an “appreciation package,” a sort of consolation prize following the many setbacks of the title during its first week of release.

This batch, for which we do not yet know the deployment date, will contain:

  • A legendary weapon suitable for your level
  • A quantity of titanium, the number of which will vary according to your level as well.
  • The new “Frustration” emote.

We remind you thatOutriders has been available since April 1 and has received a rating of 7/10 by IGN France, considering that the title “uses well-oiled mechanisms by drawing from the many references of the genre. If the title does not shine by its originality, it will seduce those who will invest in this title with generous content and the challenge raised. ”
