Microsoft Edge: browser password manager is improved

Microsoft’s Edge browser is celebrating a second spring with the switch to Chromium and is now the second most popular browser after Google Chrome. The new popularity is also due to the fact that Microsoft is constantly working on Edge and improving it. This can now be seen in the planned changes in terms of password management. Because the Redmond company announced in an article in its tech community that the password manager would be improved. So the latest Edge Dev update adds the ability to select and delete multiple passwords at the same time. Edge build 91.0.845.2 will also add new features, so it will be possible on Macs to quickly switch between tabs using a keyboard shortcut – this feature is already available on Windows. The full list of new features:

– The ability to select and delete multiple passwords at the same time from Edge: / settings / passwords has been added.
– The ability to quickly switch between two tabs on the Mac using a keyboard shortcut has been added. Note that this is already available on Windows through Edge’s tab integration in the Alt + Tab selector.
– A page with parameters for managing certificates has been added in Linux.
– Added a message explaining that vertical tabs cannot be collapsed when tabs are open in IE mode.
