Recently, Samsung unveiled three mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A72. Genuine Samsung bestsellers, they offer (on paper) an unbeatable price / quality ratio. Another smartphone not yet announced in the range, the Galaxy A82, is experiencing a big leak today. The latter gives us valuable information.
The Galaxy A82 is said to be the most expensive phone in the lineup and therefore could have a price placement just below the Galaxy S21s. It would succeed the Galaxy A80, which had the particularity of having a sliding and rotating camera (there was no A81). The leak allows us to have a first visual of the smartphone from the front. Admittedly, it is difficult to differentiate the terminals of today from this angle, but the photo shows us that the screen has a punch on its top, which was not the case with the A80. The Galaxy A82 could therefore abandon the rotary camera for a more classic format, with selfie sensor on the front and photo module on the back. According to previous leaks, it would have a 64-megapixel main sensor.
The Galaxy A82 would have 5G
We also learn that it would be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, relatively powerful and especially with 5G, increasingly important functionality at a time when the network is deployed quietly. This processor would be supported by 6 GB of RAM and not surprisingly, we should have Android 11 installed on the terminal.

For the moment, nothing is official, of course. But the leaks are becoming more and more precise and more and more common. We can therefore expect an imminent announcement, perhaps in the coming weeks. In any case, Samsung is already planning to release its first three Galaxy A of 2021 in the coming days. The Galaxy A82 could be him the ideal compromise between performance and price, offering a premium experience at a lower price.
