On April 1, 2021, many brands and media have played along by offering their April Fools’ Day. For our part, we had fun imagining a next-gen console made by Lidl. But after having scoured the proposals on the Web, the palm for the best April Fool’s Day 2021 goes unquestionably to Kasper Andersen, a young Danish passionate about hardware.

As you can see in the video below, the young man has created from scratch a GeForce RTX 4090. Obviously, the crazy technical characteristics of this new GPU make you smile: an astronomical TDP of 1000W, a monstrous size justified to house the 12 fans necessary for cooling the beast and 48 Go de VRAM !

Wait until you see the RTX 4090 Ti

Kasper Andersen showcases his creation in a hilarious video, in which we can see just how elaborate this April Fool’s Day is. He did not skimp on the staging and the means, between the two power cords, RGB lighting on the board, or even this ridiculous benchmarking tool which records no less than 23,000 images per second ! The benchmark is placed rather badly besides, the test bench literally flying away in the screen vis-a-vis the too great power of the card and its fans!

History to push the joke to its climax, Kasper Andersen presents the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti at the end of the video, a powerhouse with eight SLI GPUs that “occupies only four PCIe slots ”. Well, you will understand, this thick cloud of smoke when the map is lit does not bode well for the future … This is not the first time that Kasper Andersen has given us this kind of crazy hijackings, like the video dedicated to “Intel’s new GPU, the XE Gaming Eiffel 6500“.

Anyway, this video will probably put a smile on the face of users who have been fighting for several weeks to get a GeForce RTX 3070 or RTX 3080. Especially since the shortage is not going to improve anytime soon, the return of stocks does not ‘not expected before the second half of 2021.
